The Mar Menor & Daisy Shawls - Wool Palette, Plymouth
Mar Menor is a fun shawlette to knit. It has a half-hexagon shape wih longer side sections which drapes around your shoulders beautifully.
Daisy is a crescent shaped shawl worked from the top down.
Both shawls feature interesting elongated stitch patterns and beads. This workshop will teach you the shaping needed to knit both shawls, a variety of elongated and crossed stitches, how to add beads using a crochet hook and the beaded picot cast off.
In the morning we'll practice the different stitches involved and in the afternoon you'll be able to cast on for your own shawl.

For the Mar Menor shawl you will also need 101 size 6 miracle/illusion beads, alternatively seed beads may be used and for the Daisy shawl 235 size 6 seed beads.
